Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan passed away from a heart attack at his Florida home on July 24, at the age of 71. Following his death, it was revealed through medical records that Hogan had been quietly battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia—a diagnosis that had not been disclosed to the public prior to his passing.
According to newly surfaced legal filings reviewed by Us Weekly and TMZ, Hogan’s 35-year-old son, Nick Hogan, has petitioned to serve as co-personal representative of the estate. He filed alongside Terry McCoy, a second named representative. The documents confirm that Hogan’s will—originally signed in 2016 and updated several times through 2023—names Nick as the sole heir to the estate.
Hogan’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, is acknowledged in the will as the surviving spouse, while his daughter, Brooke Hogan, is notably absent from the list of beneficiaries.
Insiders speaking to TMZ claim that Brooke voluntarily requested her removal from the will in 2023 after she became estranged from her father. She reportedly expressed no interest in inheriting any portion of his estate.
As outlined in the filings, the estate includes $200,000 in cryptocurrency holdings, approximately $799,000 worth of personal and intellectual property, and the rights to Hogan’s name and likeness—valued at $4 million. Additionally, the documents mention an unspecified potential value tied to a medical malpractice claim.
Reports from TMZ indicate that Sky Daily may be preparing to pursue a malpractice lawsuit related to a neck surgery Hogan underwent in May, which she believes may not have been performed correctly.
Interestingly, the estate documents make no mention of any real estate holdings, despite Hogan owning two high-value properties in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Combined, those homes are estimated to be worth around $11 million.
