Harry and Meghan united at charity polo match

In advance of Harry’s fundraising polo match in Florida, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been photographed grinning and strolling hand in hand.

At the Royal Salute Polo Challenge event in Wellington on Friday, Meghan wore a cream halter neck dress, while Harry wore white trousers, a light blue shirt and a beige jacket. Every year, the Sentebale Polo Cup is organized to raise money for Sentebale, a nonprofit that Harry co-founded in 2006 that aids children and youth in southern Africa.

In their matchup with the Grand Champions Team, commanded by his close friend and Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, the duke led the Royal Salute Sentebale Team.

Wearing the number two on his sleeve, Harry was spotted playing in the game and donning the blue and white colors of his squad.

The duke scored the game’s first goal as his team triumphed 3-1, according to the Associated Press.

At the event, Figueras claimed to reporters that the duke is “a very good rider” and that he and Harry “joke a lot about who is going to win.”

He is an excellent athlete with excellent hand-eye coordination. He has a fierce sense of competition. He’s an excellent polo player,” he remarked.

In front of about 300 spectators, Harry’s side won both games. As a result, he was given the trophy for winning the mini-tournament, and Meghan planted a kiss on his cheek as he accepted it.

The duke and duchess will serve as executive producers of a new Netflix series centered around Polo.

According to Netflix, the show will provide “unprecedented access to the world of professional polo” and the US Open Polo Championship in Florida. It will be produced by the couple’s Archewell Productions company.

In response to the needs of the youth in Lesotho, Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho co-founded Sentebale.

Since then, Sentebale has increased the scope of its operations to include Botswana. It supports youth dealing with mental health, job development, and entrepreneurship difficulties in addition to HIV/AIDS.

Over £11.4 million has been raised for charity through polo activities.
